Senator Mike Gronstal Celebrates Start of Re-Election Campaign

(COUNCIL BLUFFS) –State Senator Mike Gronstal (Council Bluffs and Carter Lake, District 50) plans to kick off his reelection campaign with a celebration with his supporters.

"First and foremost this event is about the many people in this community who have been so supportive of my efforts in the Legislature," Gronstal said. "The credit for all we've accomplished with regard to education, jobs and health care is due to your work. In the Iowa Senate, I'm really just the guy who gets to stand up for a very large crowd of concerned citizens from Council Bluffs and Carter Lake, people whose first priority is making our state a great place to live."

The Gronstal kickoff event is being hosted by Liz and Scott Doll and will take place at their home, 77 Pelican Drive in Council Bluffs on Sunday, November 4, from 5 to 7 PM.

"Mike's doing a great job and we need to keep him working for Council Bluffs and Carter Lake," said Scott Doll. "We're asking people to bring a contribution to Mike's campaign to help make sure that happens."

The public is welcome to attend and is asked to RSVP by calling Senator Gronstal at home, 712-328-2808.
